Culture Learning Engagements

Students participate in cultural learning engagements that follow the local cultural calendar. These engagements look to explore important conceptual learning like sustainability, conservation and responsibility through hands-on learning experiences. SenPokChin Services

Speech and Language Therapy

Senpaq’cin has the services of a local Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, set individual goals and implement programming within classrooms to support student learning.

Senior Class Field Trip

Every year the senior class plans an educational field trip. Trips in the past have included camping in cabins above Summerland and a bus trip to Victoria and Jasper. Parents are involved in fund raising activities to support the trip and the school applies for additional funding to provide this yearly opportunity for students in the upper intermediate grades.

Monthly Family Nights

Monthly family nights are hosted by the school with support from the Parents Club. The evening includes games, dinner, and fun educational activities for students and families to participate in together. These evening events are wonderful ways to connect socially with school staff, students and parents.
